Fav lip combo 👄

This might come across as a bit of a boring post but I've found my perfect 'your lips but better' nude combo and I am loving it! A nude lip looks classic, elegant and is versatile - perfect for every occasion whether it is day or night. 

Back in December, I purchased the cult favourite matte nude Velvet Teddy by MAC! I was so excited to finally have it but was disappointed as the shade made me look washed out. I usually go for taupe hued nudes and this one is a lot more on the pinky side. I have now learnt darker nudes suit my winter complexion so much better! It is now May, the suns out and I have a lot more colour to my face and Velvet Teddy has never looked so good on me! It's perfect for this time of year, definitely a summer nude!

I have a selection of nude lip liners but I have been enjoying Barry M's lip liner so prior to putting the lipstick on, I line my lips with this! I then apply a generous amount of Velvet Teddy and over the top, I add a coat of Benefits Ultra Plush Dandelion lipgloss (which is also a perfect pinky nude) because in the summer I prefer a glossy lip instead of a matte lip.
