Spring make-up look

When the Springtime comes around, I like my make-up to appear light, fresh and pretty! I ditch the dark eyeshadows and lipsticks for more natural pinky peachy tones. I also feel like Spring is the perfect season to go a bit OTT with the highlighter! It looks so gorgeous when the light catches it and really brightens up your face which makes a change from my pasty Winter skin!

Face

For my base, I stuck to my normal make up routine consisting of my usual concealer, foundations and powders. Today I have used a new purchase which is Benefit's Erase Paste. I used this first underneath my eyes to camouflage my dark circles and then used Rimmels Wake Me Up concealer to brighten my face! For my bronzer / blush I have used my new Nars duo which gives your skin the most gorgeous colour! I especially love the blush as it leaves the prettiest shimmer to your face. For highlighter, I've used MAC's Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle - every girl needs this!

Eyes & Lips

For my eyes, I went for a light pink NARS shade all over my lid and then a shimmery sand shade from the Bobbi Brown palette in my crease! I wanted something that was simple and natural that gave a lovely glow! For my lips, I settled for a new Bourjois shade which is a classic 'your lips but better' pink shade.
