Top 10 summery nail shades!

Sorry I've been a bit MIA! Not much has been happening and I'm desperately waiting for payday so I can do some spending (expect a haul)! Lately, it has been soooo sunny where I live and it has got me so excited for summer! I've also just booked a summer holiday to Marbella so I'm desperate to get into the summer spirit already! To do this I've been adding a bit of summery colour via my nails! When Spring approaches, I swap the black and dark red shades for light nudes and peaches to help inject some pastels into my look! As the weather gets warmer, I then go crazy with the bright reds, oranges and pinks! I think a good set of nails really can complete an outfit and make a statement!

Here are some of the nail polish shades that I come back to time and time again!! I absolutely love the colours of these, they're so richly pigmented and opaque! They are also very long lasting!

L-R: Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish in Goddess, Tanya Burr's nail polish in Peaches & Cream, Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish in Soul Sessions.

L-R: Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish in Summer Orange, Essie nail polish in Meet Me At Sunset, Butter London nail polish in Trout Pout, Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish in Hip Hop.

L-R: Essie nail polish (I have no idea what the shades called as the stickers peeled off :( sorry), Butter London nail polish in Primrose Hill Picnic, Essie nail polish in Cascade Cool.

I hope you enjoyed this short but sweet post, have a lovely week!

Spring make-up look

When the Springtime comes around, I like my make-up to appear light, fresh and pretty! I ditch the dark eyeshadows and lipsticks for more natural pinky peachy tones. I also feel like Spring is the perfect season to go a bit OTT with the highlighter! It looks so gorgeous when the light catches it and really brightens up your face which makes a change from my pasty Winter skin!

Face

For my base, I stuck to my normal make up routine consisting of my usual concealer, foundations and powders. Today I have used a new purchase which is Benefit's Erase Paste. I used this first underneath my eyes to camouflage my dark circles and then used Rimmels Wake Me Up concealer to brighten my face! For my bronzer / blush I have used my new Nars duo which gives your skin the most gorgeous colour! I especially love the blush as it leaves the prettiest shimmer to your face. For highlighter, I've used MAC's Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle - every girl needs this!

- Benefit Erase Paste

- Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place make-up
- Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer
- MAC Mineralise loose powder
- NARS blush / bronze duo in Orgasm & Laguna

Eyes & Lips

For my eyes, I went for a light pink NARS shade all over my lid and then a shimmery sand shade from the Bobbi Brown palette in my crease! I wanted something that was simple and natural that gave a lovely glow! For my lips, I settled for a new Bourjois shade which is a classic 'your lips but better' pink shade.

- NARS eyeshadow in Fathom
- Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick eye palette in Raw Sugar
- Urban Decay Perversion mascara & Subversion primer
- Clinique Bottom Lash mascara

Happy Easter everyone!! 🐰
