I have been hunting high and low for a more wearable summertime nude lipstick and I've finally found one!! I am absolutely obsessed with Mac's 'Taupe' lipstick but I feel that in the summer my complexion needs a nude which is a tiny bit lighter! I came across the Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in 728 honey beige and fell in love! It's so moisturising and long lasting and the colour is perfect!
Being a typical girl, I adore doing my eye make up and own many Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay palettes but sometimes it's handy to have some gorgeous single eyeshadows for when I'm on the go! A classic look of mine is a neutral smokey eye so I was so pleased when I found Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks collection! The great thing about these is that each individual eyeshadow connects together so you can create your own palette and at £2.99 per eyeshadow you can't go wrong! I chose the shades Sand (the lighter shadow) and Taupe (the darker shadow). They are very well pigmented and have a great staying power! To compliment these shades I brought the L'oreal Color Riche L'ombre Pure in 204 golden nude. I love how shimmery this eyeshadow is and it's great to blend into the crease of your eye! It helps to define your makeup and adds a very glam touch to your look!
Currently, my favourite nail polishes are the Rimmel Salon Pro ones, the colours are so rich and I love the thickness of the brush, it makes the application process so much easier! I tend to stick to quite neutral nail polish colours but I was feeling adventurous so I chose the shade Summer Orange. It's a gorgeous bright red with orange undertones and is perfect for this weather as it really compliments a tan! I would 100% recommend the Rimmel nail polishes as they never disappoint me and they also last quite a long time!!
Lastly, I went on the hunt for a new hair product! I used to have naturally wavey hair but as I've gotten older, my waves have started to drop. I have tried various other sea salt sprays before and they've left my hair feeling dry but I stayed optimistic and thought I'd try the L'oreal Matt & Messy shine free salt spray. This is by far the best sea salt spray I've ever tried and it's helped me to achieve the 'beach waves' I've desired! The only downfall is that as I have quite thick hair, I tend to use quite a lot of the spray so it would be nice if the bottle was bigger and held a larger quantity!
