OOTN - Monochrome & Mules

A massive trend that I am loving at the moment is printed trousers - especially monochrome ones! They are great for a simple and effortless daytime look yet can make great evening wear for a hot summers night as well! For last nights outfit, I paired my black and white printed trousers with a simple black cami. I feel it's essential for every girl to own several cami tops including a black one as they are so versatile and look great with trousers, skirts and shorts! I chose to accessorise my outfit with a black faux leather clutch and mules. Faux black leather mules are a timeless classic which belong in every girls wardrobe!

Royal Ascot 2014

Unfortunately my blog has been dead for a long time now mainly because I've been rushed off my feet with exams and work! So, I thought I'd kick start the blogging with a post on an event I went to earlier this week, Royal Ascot! 

For one of my 18th birthday presents from my boyfriend, I received a ticket to go to the grandstand enclosure at Royal Ascot! I was so excited for this as Royal Ascot is huge for fashion and I could tell it was going to be a lovely day out! The weather was gorgeous and the atmosphere was phenomenal! It was amazing to be involved with something that was so patriotic and sociable! I've never really been a fan of horse racing but I soon got into the frequent habit of betting and was even lucky enough to get a return even if it was only £10! Visiting Ascot was a very enjoyable opportunity and I'd definitely recommended it - it's a perfect day out for a big group of friends!
