On a recent shopping trip, I noticed Superdrug had their 3 for 2 offer on and couldn't resist popping in and having a look around! The three products I picked up are ones I have heard very good reviews about and I've been really excited to purchase them.
The top swatch is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in the colour Elusive. I was really looking forward to purchasing this and it took me ages to pick a colour! I finally settled on this 'pinky nude' as I felt it suited my skin tone more and is appropriate for everyday use. I have used several other matte finish lip products before and I have always felt that they dry my lips out quicker but this one is completely different. As it's a balm, the texture is slightly different and feels as though it is hydrating your lips which is perfect! Due to the range of colours available, I subconsciously assumed that they would smell fruity but they actually smell like mint which is a bit odd but still very lovely! I'm extremely happy with this product and I can't wait to purchase more colours!
I've been so desperate to find a perfect fuschia lipstick as I feel it'll look gorgeous with a tan in the Summer! I have heard so much about Sleek so I had a look at their range and the lipsticks caught my eye straight away. Luckily for me, Sleek had one of their True Colour lipsticks in a Sheen fuschia shade so I had to purchase it. The colour (middle swatch) is perfect and the lipstick lasts a long time on your lips which is great! I loved the packaging of the lipstick too as it was so simple and chic. I can already tell that Sleek is a brand that I'm going to be loving!
Lastly I picked up the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Peach Club (bottom swatch). This product is a lipgloss but almost has the consistency of a lipstick! It also has a matte finish which is different as usually lipglosses are very 'glossy'. The colour is a gorgeous bright coral which is perfect for summer and emphasises tanned skin ever so well! Unlike other lipglosses, it is quite small and compact yet has a lot of width to it which means there is loads of product inside. This is useful because it means that this is definitely a handbag worthy item to keep on the go!
